The food was incredible! I had the poulet supreme and the crust on the chicken was absolutely perfect! My mouth is watering thinking about it again. The staff was very kind and attentive, not in the overbearing way either. The house white wine was delicious too! I highly recommend this restaurant!

We happened to dine here when our first choice was full. We are so glad to have been bumped to this dining establishment also located in the Apex Waterloo place hotel. Make this your first choice for fine dining in Edinburgh. I happen to love fresh mussels cooked in a cream, butter, garlic sauce. I asked about the portions as I’ve been dissatisfied with both the quantity and quality of the dish in previous restaurants. Our server was a Ukrainian girl. She described the dish in detail. Upon arrival it was everything as described. Approximately 80 mussels in total. My party of four was overwhelmed by the quality of each dish. I cannot rate this establishment higher.

Fantastic evening. Loved every minute. The team have always been wonderful here and we were not disappointed this time. Aiden was lovely, he was so helpful and friendly. We had a good laugh with him. It is nice to see that in the 10 years since we got married there, the same level of care and thoughtfulness has remained. Food was beautiful. Loved everything.

This was first visit and will certainly not be my only visit. Food , small plates excellent value and the duck shaped biscuits with our hot drinks, were a cheerful touch. Service was really good especially from Dimitar and Bex. Definitely high up on my “ ladies who lunch” list.

Thanks for taking care of us and for a really great bit of scran! We all enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The food all came out piping hot for a table of 7, breads, rice, curries and starters. Big props for the spiced onions too! Great portions all round!
