Best European Restaurants in Fate

We ordered the bread service (wonderful), beets (wonderful), habanada (good), chicken liver mousse (ok), Mille-feuille (wonderful), and the pork neck (ok). We both had a couple of drinks which were great. The ambience is great as was the service, but for a $300 dinner, you’d expect more out of the main course and mousse…

We went to Bistro 31 on a Tuesday evening at 6:15 for our anniversary dinner. There were several occupied tables, but it didn't feel crowded or noisy. We sat at an inside table at the window. The table next to us was occupied and our oversized chairs were butted against each other making it awkward to get into the chairs and adjust the table so we could place our feet around the table legs. The setting was pleasant once we were situated, and we enjoyed the window view. The service was warm, professional, timely, and efficient. The olive oil was delicious, the butter was soft & creamy, and the warm French bread had a touch of finishing salt. We ordered the beet salad to share and it arrived on separate plates. Each was really a full salad. There was a nice beet puree lining the dish which was also very good. We had the Verlasso Salmon and Homemade Ravioli Bolognese Bianca. Each dish was excellent, and I particularly enjoyed the toasted, bead like fregola Sardinian pasta with the salmon. We had cocktails instead of wine. The vodka martini's were well poured w three olives. Don't skip the Espresso Martini. The Lock, Stock & Barrel was also excellent, with refreshing & balanced flavors and aromas. We shared a delicate chocolate mouse with house made whipped cream for desert. We won't be waiting another year for our next reservation.

The moment we walked in the door we were surrounded by beauty. Everyone we met offered great care to ensure we had a lovely dining experience. Emma welcomed us at the front with warm enthusiasm; Sarah was an amazing server and her recommendation for lasagna spot on! The wine and desserts were the show stoppers: Stephanie's knowledge of wine, impressive. Her enthusiasm for wine contagious. Oret's kind attention made us feel like VIPs!

We hosted our family on a 5-6 top outside in the courtyard. Our experience was wonderful. The food, service and ambiance were great! We are fairly regular patrons of Ziziki’s. Of course, we will be back.

I always enjoy Zorba’s. Great food and a good atmosphere.
