Best Gastro Pubs in Hesket Newmarket

The choice of food for Sunday lunch was great. We had the 3 meat options. Everything was perfectly cooked, with a delicious range of vegetables and superb gravy. Desserts are fantastic too, if you have room for one. The food was served promptly, the staff are friendly, attentive and professional. It's a wonderful pub and restaurant, with stunning views and a good selection of drinks. They have created a relaxing and calm space for couples, families and larger groups to enjoy excellent food. We have been dining here for over 12 years now, and their standards are consistently high. We would highly recommend this as a great place to eat at any time of day. Thank you.

We really like the Boatside. The atmosphere was calm, service was good and this restaurant does a fantastic job with celiac options for my husband. He loved his fish and chips. My hot salmon salad was delicious and fresh. My 91 year old mum thoroughly enjoyed the chicken and her first experience of Affogato for desert.

Another excellent Curry at the Murray experience. Food was excellent as ever.

An excellent meal last night with good service. The staff were very friendly and helpful when I asked for a gluten free meal. They were able to get me a gluten free substitute, that was supplied with care and attention. Overall a good experience.
