My friend and I enjoyed an absolutely fabulous lunch at The White Hart. The food was scrumptious, service attentive and flawless. The only problem was decided which fo the delicious items on the menu to choose. This was our first visit and we will certainly return.

Food was very tasty and freshly prepared. The haddock and the homemade tartare sauce was delicious. The burger in a brioche bun was cooked to perfection and the toppings had so much flavour. One of us had fries, the other triple cooked chips and both were as good as each other. We sat outside as it was a warm evening, the garden is pleasant with pretty festoon lights. There was a mixture of tables and chairs or tables and benches for seating. The staff were very friendly and attentive, asking if everything was ok several times, throughout the evening. Would definitely return and highly recommend a trip if you're in the area.

We had a lovely meal at the Stag. It was a lovely warm day and there is ample outdoor seating. The menu had a good variety of food and the portions were generous. The crab beignets were a highlight and the steak cooked excellently. Staff were friendly and attentive.
