Best Global Restaurants in Port Charlotte

Beautiful space in tastefully updated historic building. Food is good quality and well presented and our waiter was outstanding. We loved that the sound level was actually peaceful. Only concern was that our wedge salad contained ingredients not listed on the menu. One was bacon. Since many folks have food restrictions, we suggested they list everything on the menu. They were receptive and understanding. Would definitely return!

Last night we celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary and decided to try Flambo. The mix of Indian and Trinidad cuisine sounded so interesting and different. Never had Trinidadian food before. We started with the complementary Pholourie which is a spiced fritter served with Tamarind chutney. Then we had the Pakora for appetizer. For entrees I had the curry chicken. It was described as a Trinidadian comfort food which is why I picked it. My husband got the Caribbean Kissed Shrimp. Everything was delicious. Service was outstanding and even the music playlist was perfect dinner music. We were treated to a delicious piece of carrot cake for our anniversary. Would definitely recommend Flambo!

Our server Marci was outstanding. The redfish was amazing. We have been here multiple times. Consistently great.

Our waitress was phenomenal service excellent food and drinks and exceptional and this was on a Fourth of July night 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
