We were delighted to find this restaurant while in town. We went for lunch and the warm, crusty bread with sweet butter was so good to start. Hubby had the Gnocchi alla Vodka which had Italian sausage that had a little spice to it which he loved, and I had Ellie's Chicken Piccata with lemon butter, caper sauce and capellini pasta. The chef swapped out green beans for me instead of asparagus. Capers can sometimes be overwhelming in both their size and number, but these were small, fresh ones that complimented the fish and didn't dominate it. The sauce had a delicious mix of flavors and I had a non alcoholic Peach Vivante drink that was delightful.
As far as the atmosphere, we were seated near some loud parties, one that had detailed discussions about health problems related to bodily functions that were not fun to hear while eating.
Our server was very nice, and welcomed us and was excited because it was our first time. She graciously told us about the pairings of the food and drink and offered us samples of wine. Only problem was she was a bit overwhelmed with that aforementioned loud party that all had individual checks. But overall, it was delish and we'd definitely go back!
