Best International Restaurants in Little Canfield

This was our second visit to The Gables and we again had a great experience. The food was outstanding although the very popular Ox cheek was unavailable on this evening. The Il Poggio Gavi De Gavi was excellent value and the service was second-to-none. Highly recommended restaurant and we are delighted as regular West End diners to have this little gem of a restaurant on our doorstep. Well done to all.

Booked for my son and his girlfriend who were staying in the hotel overnight. They loved the views and said the service was amazing. The food was fabulous. The best Mac cheese my son had ever had. Rounded off with a birthday cheesecake. Thank you to all the staff for making his 18th a special night.

The service was great and this is one of the few places I’ve been there the staff have been very attentive, accommodating and didn’t simply drop the food off and forget about us. They insured we were taken very good care of through the entire experience. We enjoyed each entree and the drinks were great. Probably the best margarita I’ve had since coming to the UK as an American. Should definitely try it out and a bit thank you to Henrique, the other gentlemen, and the manager!
