The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly and the food was very good, although I didn’t think I personally had made the best choice. I had the lasagne, which, although very nice, was nothing special and, in my view, a bit salty. I think the others in our party fared better. One had the stuffed aubergine, which was apparently absolutely delicious and two had chicken in a mushroom sauce, if I remember correctly. I had the skate and hubby the calf’s liver and pancetta. Both were perfectly cooked. We plan to visit weekly now. Also desserts to die for.
