- CCallumSouth Wales •1 review5.0Dined on 14 Oct 2026Excellent meal out , we went here for my birthday for lunch and had the 2 course menu which was great value , the ambience was lovely and the interior was really old school Italian vibes , the food was very quick from kitchen to table , you can see into the kitchen so know when it's coming up, the quality of the food was excellent and the portions an excellent size very filling and rich , just what you want out of a good Italian restaurant, The service was excellent and we wanted for nothing the whole time , our server was very attentive and helpful , Overall one of the best restaurant experiences we've had would definitely recommend and go back soonMore infoA Pin of Salt££££• Italian• Cardiff•4.9

The staff go out of their way to make sure you have an amazing night - and I did! The food was delicious as always. I cannot recommend enough. - CClaireSouth Wales •2 reviews5.0Dined on 9 Oct 2026We were made to feel very welcome from the outset. The staff could not do enough for us. I had the lamb shank which was beautifully cooked and as were the accompanying vegetables. My companions had ravioli quattro formaggi and lasagne della casa which they assured me were very well cooked and extremely tasty. To follow we had tartufo cioccolato and the mixed deserts to share. We also had two medium glasses of house wine, one soft drink and two coffees. The bill was very reasonable. If you are going to the theatre (as we were) I would advise booking for about 5:00/5:30 pm which gives you plenty of time to eat and means you miss the rush. All in all I would highly recommend this restaurant and will certainly return.More infoGiovanni's Park Place££££• Italian• Cardiff•4
- AAlexanderSouth Wales •1 review5.0Dined on 2 Oct 2026Booked through the Millennium theatre web site so booked with tickets to a show to make a night out. Restaurant is right by the theatre. Lovely anti pasta, and the main Carbonara dish creamy and as it should be - lovely. Caring friendly waiters but not smarmy or pushy! Lovely experience.More infoGiovanni's In The Bay££££• Italian• Cardiff•3.9
