Best Japanese Restaurants in Norwood Park

I learned about Itoko through socials and, ever since then, I’ve wanted to try out the bottomless lychee sangria; and let me tell you, that tasted like straight up JUICE and it hit quick! We were there for my birthday brunch, and our server, Grace, was very sweet and attentive. The food was spectacular; I had the “steak and eggs” (verbatim from the menu), and it was cooked to perfection. They also had birthday treats which were a pleasant surprise! Would go again! <3

I wish I could give 10 stars. Everything was fantastic, especially the food. The crispy rice and wagyu were standouts. And all of the fish was incredibly fresh and delicious. I can't want to go back and try and omakase!

We recently celebrated my husband’s birthday at Raisu, and we absolutely love this restaurant! It was the perfect spot for a special occasion. Hands down, their signature nigiri is the single best thing in Chicago—the taste and freshness are just amazing. We also fell in love with their hand rolls, which were incredible. Everything was so delicious and well-crafted that it is completely worth every penny. We can't wait to go back!

The Happy Hour is great -- $6 glasses of wine, a nice-sized bowl of roasted/charred edamame for $6...you can't beat the quality and prices! And the Lobster California and the Cruncy Avocao Rolls from the regular menu are delicious, too.
