Best Japanese Restaurants in Ystrad Mynach

From walking into the restaurant to leaving, the experience was first class. Ambience was bright & cheery with non-intrusive background music. The decor was tasteful in a Japanese style with albeit fake branches & greenery, but not in any way tacky. The staff were brilliant with no hesitation in recommending dishes & explaining styles & even offering to lightly torch some of the raw fish dishes for concerned eaters. The food was absolutely delicious & we will definitely be returning to work our way through the menu. To top it off we all thought it was good value, which these days is a rare thing!

Had a lovely meal for my partners birthday and the cake and happy birthday at the end was such a lovely gesture! Amazing customer service, definitely recommend 😀

Amazing service the food is incredible I look forward to our monthly date night coming to this restaurant cannot recommend it enough

This a great place. Staff are lovely. Service is great. Food is delicious

Great experience at Wagamama Cardiff - after a slightly bumpy start where it seemed they weren’t aware of our reservation or the fact that I had notified them I’m coeliac. No one asked about dietary needs or offered the gluten free menu. But once this was understood the menu was produced, and we had a senior server to handle my dietary needs. I felt safe, looked after and confident I could eat safely. Delicious food! Relaxed atmosphere. All five of us thoroughly enjoyed.
