Having stayed in Montreal a number of times over the last four years this has been, by far, the best dinner experience we’ve had. The ambience was cool, calm and yet vibrant and the food was perfectly prepared and portioned. We definitely plan on going back. And also aiming to spend more time in the neighborhood as we didn’t get a chance to in this trip. Feels like a cool little niche of the city.

A 3- or 5-course tasting menu. With wine pairings if desired. We chose the 5-course menu with pairings. Usually - in such circumstances- there’s always one course or one pairing that’s not quite as good as the others, but here at Panacée, everything was perfect. The wines take us on a journey beyond our usual comfort zone, with gems of genius that, when paired with the dishes, become moments of ecstasy on the palate. Also, we had specified that we wanted to share the menu (you have to choose between two dishes for each course—so we each took one to taste everything!). Well, another first: the service was tailored to that! Both wines are served to each of us with one dish in the center and two small plates to share. Awesome. In short, a memorable experience. We’ll definitely be back. We were seated in the dining room—there aren’t many tables—so be sure to reserve in advance.

Pitch perfect. The decor and ambiance really set the tone. The staff was knowledgeable, responsive and fun. The food was delicious and very generous, and we also found some great bottles on the wine list. 10/10 can recommend

We had a good meal at restaurant bungalow. The French onion soup, salad, and duck were all delicious. The pasta of the day was ok - a bit too mustardy. The service wasn’t good, the waiter was aloof and we had to get his attention several times. It was odd because the restaurant was not busy but he seemed more interested in chatting w the cooks than serving us.
