The food was delicious, beautifully prepared, and full of flavour, and the ambience was just perfect. We ordered for a birthday meal, and the restaurant truly delivered, making the occasion feel extra special. Everything was spot on, and you could really appreciate the quality and care that went into the food. It was the perfect combination of great food and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. (Sharing Menu - Amazing)More infoThe Griffin££££• Modern European• Amersham•4.8

In fairness we’ve been visiting for over ten years on our trips up and down the country. Always excellent, and always worth a detour!More infoThe Vintner££££• Modern European• Stratford-Upon-Avon•4.6
- SSarahOxford/Oxfordshire •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoIt was our first visit for two years but they’ll never be such a big gap again. From the warm welcome to the crisp cocktails to the fantastic food and strong service - it could not have been better. The potato fondant (starter) is one of the nicest course I have ever eaten.More infoCherwell Boathouse££££• Modern European• Oxford•4.8
- AAntheaLondon •5 reviews5.0Dined on 9 Oct 2026We had a table for two on a Friday night. The restaurant was fairly quiet but we had drinks in the lounge with canapés while we chose our menu. The restaurant rang earlier in the day to check dietary requirements which was useful as I don’t eat meat. They then modified the taster menu to take out the meat dishes. The food was incredibly good, they were just into their autumn menu and it was all tasty and well thought out. The Smokey trout in particular stood out. Our waitress was fantastic, she was from Spain and was lovely and friendly and extremely knowledgable about wine. We had a super meal and evening, it was a shame it was so quiet but this didn’t detract from our wonderful meal.More infoMurrays at Whittlebury Hall££££• Modern European• Towcester•4.8
