We were visiting Rhinebeck for the first time and ate at a few restaurants in town. We had dinner at Terrapin which is housed in a wonderful, well designed space with multiple level seating. The sound level is moderately vibrant but conversation was easy. The food was prepared extremely well. I had the short rib which was perhaps one of the best such preparations I have ever had. Wait staff was courteous and available when needed. The personnel, space and food combined for an outstanding experience. I highly recommend Terrapin.

Food and setting were terrific. We especially liked views of the Tappan Zee/Cuomo bridge and speaking with manager. Entrees were delicious and atmosphere intimate.
