- SscottGoldPortland / Oregon •224 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe dine at Oven and Shaker regularly, and it never disappoints. We were there for the new Whiskey Wednesday special - $5.00 (!) whiskey sours, manhattans, and old fashioneds every Wednesday for the foreseeable future. We arrived during happy hour, so also were able to take advantage of the reduced price for the margherita pizza and Nostrana salad. Service is top notch, drinks are tasty, and the food is outstanding. The total bill for four drinks, pizza and salad was $55, which included a generous tip. Excellent value!More infoOven and Shaker$$$$• Pizzeria• Pearl District•4.8

Fully staffed for great conversation and attentive service. Crazy deep rotating menu. One of the most authentic “Euro” experiences in Portland. Kudos to this staff and ownership team.More infoNostrana$$$$• Italian• Southeast Portland•4.7
- HHelenPortland / Oregon •28 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoOur first time and we will certainly go back! The waitress was friendly and efficient. The food was uniformly excellent, with generous but not overwhelming portions. The salads, one asparagus, one beet, were particularly appealing visually. The potato gnocchi were a perfect texture, the surrounding broth and vegetables tasty and unusual, at least to us. Next time we will try dessert.More infoPiattino$$$$• Italian• Pearl District•4.2

- AAmarylGoldPortland / Oregon •22 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoYum's of PDX absolutely delivered from start to finish. We shared the Caesar salad for two, which was tresh, crisp, and a great way to kick off the meal. The Meatballs for Mom were amazing, but the seasonal burrata platter was a standout. Creamy burrata paired with sweet peaches, blackberries, candied nuts, and crispy crostini made for a perfect summer appetizer. For pizza, we ordered the Belle All Dressed Up, the Jersey Girl, and the All tor Mom, and every one was exceptional. The Belle All Dressed Up was perfectly balanced with fresh, savory flavors. The Jersey Girl featured burrata, romano, tomato sauce, fresh garlic, oregano, pepperoni, EVOO, basil, and a drizzle of hot honey that tied everything together with the pertect sweet-and-spicy finish. The All for Mom was a showstopper, with fresh mozzarella, gorgonzola, romano, roasted blue oyster mushrooms, portabella and cremini mushrooms, lemon basil pistachio pesto, sweet lemon ricotta, Calabrian chili peppers, basil, and edible flowers. It was as beautiful as it was delicious, with earthy, creamy, bright, and spicy flavors in every bite. The cocktails were excellent, and the service was just as impressive. Everyone on the staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. We couldn't leave without dessert. The black-and-white cookies and the Neapolitan ice cream sandwiches were the perfect sweet ending to an incredible meal. From the food to the drinks to the hospitality, Yum's of PDX nailed it. Every dish felt thoughtfully crafted, and it's easy to see the care that goes into the menu. Highly recommend!
