⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Absolute Jewel in Cheshire – Simply Outstanding! We visited The Pickering Arms last night to celebrate my birthday, and what a fantastic experience it was from start to finish! The food was absolutely beautiful, the service was exceptional, and the whole atmosphere made the evening feel that little bit more special. It’s one of those rare places where everything just comes together perfectly. What owners Ant and Candice have achieved is nothing short of brilliant. You can see the passion, dedication and hard work that have gone into making this place something truly special. They’ve created far more than just a lovely pub – they’ve created somewhere you genuinely look forward to visiting and can’t wait to return to. In a world where truly great hospitality can sometimes be hard to find, The Pickering Arms is a shining example of how it should be done. A real hidden gem and an absolute jewel in Cheshire. If you haven’t visited yet, you’re seriously missing out! Huge congratulations to Ant, Candice and the entire team. You should be incredibly proud of what you’ve created. Without doubt, a five-star experience and somewhere I cannot recommend highly enough. We’ll definitely be back!

Very pleasant evening. The pub was lovely and warm which, of course, made it feel very welcoming. Food was great and the special offer of 2 meals for £23 makes it excellent value.

We visited the Boars Head for my boyfriends birthday. It was a hot Monday evening so extremely quiet in the restaurant (in fact I believe we were the only people eating). The service (thank you Izzy) and food was amazing, I would highly recommend and will not hesitate to book again.

My husband and I booked on Sunday and had what Ican only describe as the best Sunday dinner I have ever tasted 10/10. Everything on the plate from the meat to the veg was excellent and we will definitely be coming back soon,, hats off to the chef, the staff where lovely and the price for what we had on our plate was excellent to,, great job 👌
