Best Pubs in Pike Creek

My wife and I were looking for somewhere to eat in a new area that we're visiting. I looked up this tavern, saw the menu, and decided to make reservations. We had a nice corner table, lit by candlelight in the back bar area. It was relatively quite and not packed. The atmosphere was nice and old/rustic; like I would picture a tavern. The service was prompt and friendly - I'm sorry, I cannot remember the gal's name. Nice selection of brews, wine, and cocktails. The food - wow - it was amazing! My wife had the stuffed sea bass special and I had the seafood diavolo. Would highly recommend both! Then, the pumpkin pie cheesecake for dessert. Homemade deliciousness!! Do not hesitate to book a reservation here!

We made a day trip to Delaware from Philadelphia and reserved a table at Roost for dinner due to their dietary accommodating menu. The food was delicious and there was something for each person in our party to enjoy. I loved the gluten free cornbread and the cocktails were crafted wonderfully! Our waiter was kind and considerate to my dietary needs - we will definitely return the next time we’re in Wilmington!

The accordionist keeps up the festive tone - there was even a bit of dancing and singing - and the beer and other drinks of choice complement perfectly prepared flavortul favorites such as Fladlesuppe (pancake soup), radish salad, spaetzle, bratwurst, and smoked pork chops.
