    Repeat diner. I had lunch at Angels with Bagpipes and simply loved it. The menu mostly features small plates, which was perfect for trying a variety of dishes. Every single thing I ordered was scrumptious and beautifully plated. I tried the Haggis bonbons, chicken terrine and Sea trout. Everything was excellent, but the absolute standout was the sea trout - excellent sauce which wasn't gloopy or made the excellent soft fish, soggy. What really set the meal apart was how perfectly balanced the food was. The flavors were exceptionally clean, hit the exact right note without being overly salty or bland, and everything was seasoned beautifully. It was the perfect place for solo diners and I would highly recommend it.

    What a beautiful place! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming — such warmth and hospitality. The portions are huge and the food is absolutely delicious. You have to visit!
