Best Seafood Restaurants in Carlow Town

Not our first visit, but good food and drink as always in enjoyable traditional pub atmosphere. Staff were friendly, attentive and quick. For the starters, the mussels were very good; the calamari could have been a little bit crisper but the sauce and accompaniments were good. For mains, we really enjoyed the fish and chips, which were hot, crisp on the outside and perfectly cooked inside. We also got the seafood chowder and beef and guinness pie, which were reliably good. All went down well with a pint of Fox's IPA.

5 star service,couldn't fault anything. Patrick went above and beyond. He is the nicest person ever

The setting was spectacular and the food was excellent as always!. Most enjoyable of all was the warm welcome we received from the staff and great service we received. Our server Tom was a very pleasant and very helpful. He was engaging and our constant pointof contact throughout the meal. We wanted to have an extended break between courses and he helped tailor the evening to suit us. Thanks Tom!

We were there last night for my daughter’s birthday. Her steak was perfectly cooked and in her words “life changing” The mussels were delicious and the biggest serving we have ever seen. Excellent service as well
