Lovely celebratory meal with friends. Service really good. Waitress attentive & friendly. Food very tasty. Well cooked and well presented. Great choice of whiskeys & wines. Very pleasant evening all round.

We had an amazing visit for our wedding anniversary. The restaurant has a lovely cosy vibe to it. The staff were friendly and attentive, especially Annabelle our server. We had never seen a special's board like this one before!!! Perfect to really understand the cut of meats. We didn't opt for starters and just had a table snack to nibble on whilst waiting which was a good idea as we went for the Chateaubriand to share, with 2 sides and 2 sauces. We also ordered the blooming onion. The sides we went for were the Mac & cheese and beef dripping chips and the bone marrow gravy & pepper corn for the sauces. Everything was great. The meat had been cooked and rested to perfection. We had no space for dessert!!! Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Kyloe and would happily recommend it. We may well visit again when back in Edinburgh.

We wanted some seafood to round out our Scottish trip. Our hotel recommended The Mussel & Steak Bar, it was in a familiar area, available, and we are glad! Service was stellar, food was just what we were looking for and the atmosphere was cosy, fun to hang out and chat about our adventures, no rushing us along. Be sure to have their Sticky Toffee Pudding, the best I had this trip.
