We hadn’t eaten at The Oyster House in years, and much to our surprise, it was excellent in every way. Our server was friendly and very helpful in every way from drinks to desserts. We came for lobster rolls to compare them to Portland, Maine, where we had recently traveled and where the lobster rolls are phenomenal for freshness and large chunks of pure succulent lobster meat. But we must say that the lobster rolls are equally as excellent as any we ate in Maine, much better than we expected! And the homemade shoestring fries were perfectly cooked as well. We’d recommend this restaurant highly to anyone looking for a truly authentic seafood experience!

We’ve been to Jules twice several years apart and both times the food and service was exceptional. My wife and I got the avocado toast as an appetizer to start. Sound boring? Look at the attached photo — blackened jumbo shrimp on toasted ciabatta with sriracha mayo. Amazing. For dinner, my wife had crab cakes (2) and I had the scallops almondine. Also amazing. The service was great too. The servers have a deep knowledge of the menu and are attentive without being intrusive. Oh, and did I mention it’s a BYOB? One nit: Jules has too many tables, so it is a tight fit. I elbowed passing diners and servers more than once. But the food is worth that (relatively) minor inconvenience.

Our server was John L this evening. He was great from start to finish. Anything we needed he got for us. Food was on time and hot, and tasted great. Kudos to the chef. We were celebrating my son’s 17th birthday and John made sure he enjoyed every minute of it. Giving John all the love for a great evening. Thanks again….10 stars across the board

The food was unbelievably good- wife & I had the Seafood Bake which was phenomenal . The Caesar salad was the best ever experienced in a restaurant around the world. For dessert, had the Key Lime Parfait, another winner.Our waiter was a young man named Tony L., & he was very knowledgeable , & offered great suggestions from drinks to main courses and desserts. A truly Great all around experience here.
