Amazing menu - not extensive but everything delicious and unusual.
Lovely bourbon cocktails! The Campfire Old Fashioned was fabulous.
Downstairs in Lowcountry where we ate it was a really lovely intimate venue with a great relaxed vibe. This is a wonderful night out.
Saw on instagram and thought it looked amazing, I was half expecting to be let down as many places rarely stand up to their online and marketing appearances but this place was truly exceptional. Great food and great portions.
All of the food was fantastic, and the team really accommodating to small changes like sharing mains and starters. They also really took their time to look after us, and we event got a nice glass of prosecco as it was our wedding anniversary! Amazing place, definitely coming back next time I'm in London.
We visited for a pre-theatre dinner and booked a table. On arrival we were warmly welcomed and offered a choice of where to sit.
The service was friendly, attentive but not obtrusive.
The food was very good. To start we shared a garlic bread side, which comprised 3 soft ball-shaped rolls with an ample portion of garlic butter; delicious and a nice twist on garlic bread. For our mains my partner had the classic burger which he said was very tasty. I had the protein salad which had a wide mix of interesting ingredients with a good dressing.
We would go again and definitely recommend.
Myself and my fiancé had the loveliest time!
We were asked if we were celebrating, which we were and were given glasses of fizz! The food was out of this world! And the service was brilliant!
It hasn't changed since I first visited in the 1970's. The formula hasn't changed because got it right first time - not many London restaurants have lasted this long.
