My husband and I went to Bramble & Brine last night to celebrate our birthdays. It was our first time. We haven’t been able to get in during the season because it’s so crowded, so a Sunday in the off season was perfect.
Jack, our server, was amazing. He brought us a complimentary glass of champagne to toast our birthdays, which was a really nice way to start the evening.
We ordered the special Manhattan off the cocktail menu. If you like a cocktail, I recommend it. The French onion soup was really good, with the perfect amount of onion, cheese, and crouton. My husband had the burrata salad and enjoyed it too.
For my main I had the chicken cordon bleu. It has been a long time since I’ve had it, and it was so delicious. It was perfectly cooked, topped with a buttery cream sauce, and served with potato puree, green beans, and baby carrots. My husband had the crab cake, a special they only had that night, and he enjoyed it as well.
From the seating to the service to the food and ambiance, it was all amazing.
