All and all a great experience! It was lobster season so my wife and I had the "Lobster Gratinée" entrée and the "Sirloin + Half Atlantic Lobster". It's great every time! (we have it every summer) Server demands if there are allergies (me it's shrimps), then later, someone from the staff comes back and confirms my order with me and that he has notified the kitchen of my allergy. This is one of many examples of their attention to details and going the extra mile. My only complaint, which didn't ruin my experience, is the "pop music" being loud for a dining room.

I can definitely see why Joe Beef is one of Montréal’s most iconic restaurants. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared with high-quality ingredients, and the portions were generous enough to share. The food leans toward rich, indulgent French comfort cuisine, with bold flavors that make it a great spot for a special occasion rather than an everyday meal. Loved all the dishes we ordered especially the foie gras double down and the lobster spaghetti. While it’s undeniably on the pricey side, the overall dining experience—from the ambiance to the beautifully executed dishes—makes it worth trying at least once. The birthday potato was memorable too. 😂

We had been dinning at this establishment for a long time now . Service is excellent , amazing staff and one thing is - the food is consistent and very delicious. We had been dinning and many restaurants and still do but always tempted to make Lucille’s one of our first choices .

This is the perfect restaurant. Every course, every wine, just simple and thoughtfully executed.
