Best Steakhouses in South Charlotte

The he food was amazing, good portions flavor fantastic. When we first walk in the staff were very friendly, our waitress look like she was having a bad day but overall. 9.5 out of 10

Wonderful as always! We e been going for 25 + years.

100/10. My family was going out to celebrate my engagement, but we only made the reservation about 2 hours in advance since that’s when Oak had availability. We have gone to a lot of steakhouses and nicer restaurants in the area but my out of towner parents wanted to try a new place none of us had been before, so we went to Oak. Upon arrival, the host congratulated me and my fiancé on our engagement, and at the table was a handwritten card and candle waiting for me from the restaurant. Then we were lucky enough to get Robert as our server, who truly made our experience outstanding. My sometimes snooty LA parents kept talking about how we felt like the service and quality control felt next level here, which is a rare find these days. The food was amazing (again, even to my parents who enjoy complaining, they kept raving about how delicious everything was) and we were shocked when Robert told us he was a new server there because he was so insanely good at his job. I will absolutely be back and I know my parents will too next time they’re in town!!

Oyster Rockefeller melted in your mouth! As did my filet mignon. Cooked to perfection. My husband had the Chilean Sea Bass and said it was the best he’s had. Creamed spinach was delicious as was the butter cake dessert. Rare to find a fabulous place where every single thing is delicious. Wine and cocktails awesome too. Love the elevated, moody atmosphere. Full and lively.

This was our second time at Steak 48, and once again, we had an amazing experience! The food was delicious, and our server Jerome was wonderful! He was very attentive, and we especially enjoyed his drink recommendations! Everything was great from start to finish, and it made my birthday dinner even better!
