Todd, Ellen & their team continue to roll out the classics: risotto fritters, artichokes, as well as sharing new, local, organic delights! If you were a fan of the original spot on CT near the WH, you'll find the ambience here WAY more easy-going & approachable. Easy location. This continues to be my FAV restaurant in DC.

We dine at True Food Kitchen when we get together as extended family because the menu accommodates our family's varied tastes and dietary preferences. We especially appreciate your commitment to offering animal-free options, including several bowls, pizza, a plant-based burger, and the ability to add tofu to salads and bowls. We would love to see you build on these offerings by expanding your selection of animal-free options. Also, the service was great.

I have been following a whole food plant based diet (based on the documentary “Forks Over Knives “) for about 16 months and have never found a restaurant so closely aligned with my way of eating until now. The food is delightfully seasoned bringing out the true flavor of the vegetables. The staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Even though I had to travel 60 miles to get there, the experience was so remarkable that I will return over and over.

Had an excellent evening at Our Mom Eugenia this past Saturday. Our server Nils had good recommendations, the dishes were great. Nils was very attentive but not overly so, one of the best servers I have seen recently. Very customer-focused restaurant; the manager David provided over and above customer service for a minor issue regarding one of the dishes. Ask for Nils’ table when you visit!

I wanted to try this place for quite awhile and it did not disappoint! Next time I will try the menu which walks you through many different items but this time we ordered separately. I got the beef and chicken platter with rice, carrots, and raisins. Very generous portions- will be enjoying it again for lunch! Great wine menu and lots of choices for vegans/vegetarian guests. Dumpling appetizer was great with each of the different types. And everyone was so welcoming!
