Best Wine Bars in Newcastle-under-Lyme

I always love returning to my absolute favourite spot, but yesterday’s lunch with my dad completely blew us away! It all started at the door: the hostess welcomed us with such natural warmth, picking up on the perfect details during a quick chat to curate a fabulous lunch. Knowing how much we both adore this place, the team even surprised us with a delightful welcome-back treat that truly warmed my heart! The service was impeccable. Our server, James, was fantastic, highly professional yet wonderfully natural, attentive, and down-to-earth. A massive shout-out also to Agi, whom I used to work with! Seeing her on the team was amazing, and her extra care made our afternoon feel incredibly special. As for the food, it was utterly delicious and cooked to absolute perfection, exactly as expected. The incredible staff here prove, time and time again, why Hawksmoor is a rock-solid guarantee. Thank you to the entire team, we cannot wait to come back!

Thoroughly enjoyable wine tasting evening. Very surprised how much I enjoyed the British wine as always written it off. We were given a full description of the wine before tasting and the accompanying nibbles complimented it perfectly. Would be lovely to have a few more , happy to pay extra too. Let me know when the next is I’d definitely come again
