I always eat here before a performance at the nearby Palace Theatre. This is the best Italian restaurant in the City Centre and booking is essential to avoid disappointment. The welcome is genuine and you are made to feel that your visit is treasured. I pushed the boat out and went a-la carte. Starter: Caprese salata with avocado . Delicious! Main: Pasta especiale with Tiger prawns Norwegian shrimps and the most superb sauce I’ve ever tasted! Compliments were sent to the kitchen! I asked for Afogato to finish: this was truly a work of art! Ice cream, espresso coffee and a shot of Amaretto - bliss! Wine was Pino Grigio rosé and was perfect with this meal. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ E.H.
