Best Yakitori Restaurants in Downey / Norwalk / Santa Fe Springs

It was very cool to see tuna cutting for the first time. We got lucky and won the raffle to the kamatoro cut, and it was no doubt the highlight of our meal. The cut was tender, juicy and buttery and worth every dollar. We also ordered tuna sashimi and sushi, which were fresh but the quality of the fish was less stellar. It was heavy on the akami and not much toro, and certain cuts were stringy and harder to chew. Overall this was a very unique experience, and I very much appreciate Shinsengumi for bringing cultural events like this to our neighborhood. I will definitely return for future events.

Always crowded and always great! Watching the kitchen is instructional and inspiring.

One of the better Izakaya restaurants we've been to. We ordered the korroke, chicken karaage, chicken and veggie skewers. We will definitely return again to try more on the menu. Great value fir the quality of food. The service was great.
