Using the finest ingredients available, our constantly evolving menu provides an experience that is unique to Sushiko. Our approach focuses on tradition as an art form instead of a rule book. Sushiko was wonderful as always - not only is Piter Tjan a very talented chef, is is also a warm and welcoming host! And Sophia is such a lovely server. Our favorite dish is the hamachi crudo. We could eat it every day - it's so delicious.

My Little Chamomile is easily my new favorite restaurant in Georgetown! Everything about my brunch was delightful, from the warm, inviting atmosphere to the beautifully prepared food. The branzino was absolutely fabulous—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and accompanied by a lovely fresh salad. Everything tasted exceptionally fresh, with the quality of the ingredients evident in every bite. I also enjoyed the muhammara, homemade bread and jam, and almond pudding. Every dish was delicious, with thoughtful preparation and presentation. Even the hot tea was a pleasure. I enjoyed everything so much that I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and lentil soup to take home for the following day. My server, Christine, was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. She even suggested I return for dinner on a Thursday, when the restaurant is typically at its quietest. It’s that kind of thoughtful, personal service that makes a dining experience memorable. A charming restaurant serving exceptional food with genuine care and attention to detail. What a wonderful find! I can’t wait to return.

About the restaurant
Rumi's Kitchen first opened more than a decade ago in Atlanta, the result of years of development by Chef / Owner Ali Mesghali. Showcasing the flavors of Iran -- fresh herbs, kabobs cooked over an open-fire grill -- quickly won loyal guests at the original location in Sandy Springs, GA and set us on pace to open our first restaurant outside of Georgia in 2020. Rumi was a 13th-century Persian poet whose words and life teach us how to find inner peace, happiness and love. We invite you to Rumi’s Kitchen where fresh, healthy food and attentive Persian hospitality await you.

Loveliest solo dining experience on a weeknight. The food is always superb. But what stood out on this visit was the exceptional service. Sergio took my wine order, but offered a sample & suggestion of something he thought I may like even more. I loved the edit and was grateful for the insightful suggestion. When I ordered dessert & a coffee, he again thoughtfully asked if I'd like to delay delivery a bit, to enjoy a more leisurely pace. Solo dining often feels rushed (no conversational partner), so slowing things down for a more luxe experience was so appreciated. Brilliant service! The only qualm: it can get a bit loud when the restaurant is full. But even then, it feels festive and you know they're doing a roaring business because they're THAT good.

My experience at Jônt exceeded my expectations! While a few of the cold courses, particularly the sea urchin, weren’t quite to my personal taste, the entrées were nothing short of extraordinary. Several ranked among the best dishes I’ve ever enjoyed at any restaurant, anywhere in the world. The tiger prawn, in particular, was the highlight of the evening and a dish I won’t soon forget. The desserts were equally impressive, and I especially appreciated the creative use of apple and chestnut flavors to conclude the meal. The service was exceptional throughout the evening. Max, who was my primary server, was a consummate professional, striking the perfect balance between attentiveness and hospitality. The entire team was warm, welcoming, and remarkably knowledgeable, making the experience all the more memorable. Jônt delivered a truly outstanding dining experience, and I would enthusiastically recommend it to anyone who appreciates exceptional food and hospitality. I look forward to returning!

About the restaurant
Please note that we are not offering Restaurant Week at our DC location.

Located at 914 14th Street SE in Washington, DC.

Caruso’s Grocery is modeled after the classic, Italian-American "red sauce" joint. You know the one: red banquettes, a killer chicken parmesan, Sinatra pouring through the speakers. If you’re looking for modern interpretations of a chef's take on the classics, you won’t find them here.
