Best Authentic Restaurants in Coral Bay

This is my 2nd time eating at this restaurant and I must say, it will be in the rotation of casual and special dinners moving forward. The porkchop and lobster special was amazing and cooked to perfect. No complaints, whatsoever! The prompt service from the bartender and server was amazing and showed great teamwork. The overall price for a party over 5 people was very reasonable. Really enjoyed my birthday dinner.

Absolutely love the lobster coconut curry! My husband had the Mahi Mahi on Alfredo pasta and enjoyed it as well. Definitely recommend this place! We will put it on our list of must do's again.

Hadn't been there for 2 years since it changed owners and some hurricane repairs. The view is wonderful, the menu was smaller but there was a $55 dollar 3 course menu which we selected and was excellent. The service was excellent but check your bill: an extra drink from the next table was added but then deleted when I questioned it and added protein wasn't added but was charged and then deleted when I pointed it out. An automatic 18% service charge is added-sign of the times I suppose as more establishments do this. The drink menu was very nice and the bartender was very personable. Would definitely return next year.

What a truly memorable dining experience from start to finish. Manager Irv greeted us with a warm Anniversary reception - always appreciated. He puts the ‘H’ in hospitality. David took it from there with delightful service, excellent recommendation’s and attentiveness to our every question. The culinary experience took it over the top. Chef Felicia prepared everything superbly. Delicious and A+ presentation. We tried as many items as we could on the menu: the gazpacho was ‘authentic and savory’ per Hubby. Josephine’s green’s w/ fried goat cheese was mouthwatering! The mahi and yellowfin tuna were fresh and perfectly prepared, including temperature. The duck confit - exceptional. Crispy, tender and succulent. Even the apple tart was commendable. It was truly a culinary celebration and we’ll visit La Tapa everytime we’re on Island. I highly recommend it and be sure to book for sunset. Very romantic. Thank you all for a fabulous anniversary celebration we’ll never forget.

We go to Agave lots, but last night was the best time ever. Great service, excellent food, soccer on the big screen, good vibes all around.
