My husband and I recently celebrated our wedding anniversary at Momento, and once again, the experience was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. Our table had been thoughtfully prepared with a beautiful anniversary message, setting the tone for a truly special evening. The maître d’ was gracious and attentive, guiding us through the wine selection, the menu, and every detail of our dinner with remarkable care. As someone with celiac disease, dining out can sometimes be challenging. I had contacted the restaurant in advance, and Chef Nicolas went above and beyond to ensure that my meal was thoughtfully prepared with careful attention to preventing gluten cross-contact. What impressed me most was the honesty and professionalism of the staff. When they explained that the escargot I had requested could not be prepared safely for me, they helped me find another wonderful option. My personalized appetizer was delightful, the fish was absolutely delicious, and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his T-bone steak. As a psychologist, I have always imagined a restaurant where dining becomes a personal experience, thoughtfully shaped around each guest’s needs, preferences, and individuality. Chef Nicolas and his team bring that vision beautifully to life. Momento has become part of our anniversary tradition, and my husband now considers it his favorite restaurant in Stroudsburg. True elegance is not simply found in beautiful surroundings or exquisite cuisine. It is found in the way people make you feel valued. We love going to Rios. The people are always so nice and friendly. We love their chocolate martinis and all of the food is cooked just how we like it. The sides are a little expensive for the premium sides and I wish they would bring back their salad bar and hot dishes bar that they used to have. Also they got rid of blue cheese dressing so please bring that back.
