What a wonderful dining experience! My guest and I arrived earlier than our scheduled reservation after finishing our voting sooner than expected, and the restaurant graciously accommodated us. From the beautiful atmosphere to the excellent food and service, everything exceeded our expectations. A special compliment goes to the lovely lady who waited on us. She was warm, friendly, attentive, and offered a wonderful recommendation. She went above and beyond to make sure we understood our choices and received exactly what we wanted. Great food and a beautiful atmosphere are always appreciated, but outstanding personal service is what makes an experience memorable. Our server definitely did that for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and look forward to returning! Please pass along our appreciation to the restaurant and, especially, to our server. She helped make an already enjoyable evening even more memorable. Kind regards, Dale

Oh my: the food here was so spectacular that it made my heart happy. It was honestly the best meal we have had in quite a while. The restaurant is beautiful. The service left a little to be desired; but the food was so good we didn’t even care. Excellent place for a leisurely Sunday brunch. Highly recommend. We can’t wait to go back.

This was my first time eating at Portico. This place is truly a hidden gem. We were sitting outdoors and the decor was absolutely beautiful. The food, wine, drinks, and desserts were all fabulous. Would recommend to family and friends.

It was parents weekend for the local college,UVA, so they were slammed so was happy Open Table got us in! I love Bonefish and except for crowded it didn’t disappoint and the manager and front desk people were friendly and nice in spite of it all!:)

This afternoon I brought my partner to Matchbox to celebrate her birthday because we both enjoy Matchbox. I had made a reservation so when we got there everything was ready to go. Also my partner's family join us today to celebrate this special day. The 7 of us had a great time and fun afternoon plus the food was delicious. My partner was so happy and excited. Also, her family had never been to Matchbox before and they enjoyed themselves and the food as well. Her family said that they will be back. Also, our waitress Rachel was awesome. She was very attentive, engaging and social. She did an excellent job serving us today on this special day. Overall it was a super duper and satisfying Saturday afternoon at Matchbox. We will be back again soon.
