Best Casual Restaurants in North Conway

We went at 2pm on a Thursday. Not super busy or noisy. Lovely friendly staff and great tacos. Flavors are imaginative and also some standards. Was great. Pay parking in adjacent lot or might get lucky with on street parking and short walk. We had a person in a wheelchair so stopping to let them out was a little challenging.

We had a wonderful evening at Oxford House. Right from the friendly and warm greeting from our hostess until we paid the bill. Our server, Morgan, was professional, unobtrusive yet attentive. The entire meal was excellent and nicely presented. We chose a table by the window in the front room that was private and cozy but the view from the back dining room is lovely too. We will return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The special fiddlehead and ramps appetizer was amazing. The dining room was very quiet as it was mostly empty. Loved being able to hear my dining companion.

An interesting place, made to be reminiscent of an old lodge. Food and service were excellent, some of the seating however was an odd choice with what appear to be low tables and deer skin chairs that made it uncomfortable and hot to sit in for the two hour dinner. Fondue was magnificent, calamari was also delicious, the steak burger was also very good, but because of our low table and itchy seats was my second choice as I had been eyeing the steak freets but honestly had no way to comfortably eat it. Deserts were delicious and the overall experience great, would go again. Just would be sure to ask for a normal table and chairs.

Nice dinner w great views altho nothing on special anniversary event with service a bit slow and salmon sent back for cooking to medium to return when friends’ meals were mostly done. Gorgeous property, porch hangout and try it. Once there- no need to return.
