2nd visit to this restaurant, the food never disappoints. Great service too

Went to Lokal for mine and my sisters birthday. The dips / mezze were excellent and the mains were delicious with very generous portions. Service was quick, friendly and helpful throughout. Lovely atmosphere as well, with just the right level of buzz while still being able to have a conversation. Will definitely be returning.

What a lovely little restaurant! We had dinner at Pasta Sophia last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a small, family-run place with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and excellent service. I had the chicken Milanese with spaghetti, and it was outstanding. The tomato sauce was particularly good – rich, full of flavour and honestly one of the best I've tasted. All the pasta is freshly made, which makes such a difference. My friend had the seafood linguine with baby squid, prawns, cherry tomatoes and bisque. She loved it and said every element of the seafood was cooked to perfection. She was equally impressed with her glass of house red, which she thought was excellent. There aren't many tables, and we saw several people turned away without a reservation, so I'd definitely recommend booking. A really enjoyable evening, and somewhere I'd happily return to.

We actually moved to the bar & ordered food there as it suited our mood more! Both spaces are adjacent & surrounded by green plants at the back of the hotel. A lovely relaxing place to meet someone getting off the train.

Superb service from being met on arrival to direction whenever needed. Bar and dining service outstanding. The value for food was very good and selection excellent. Would go back
