Best Family Style Restaurants in Middlefield

There is something about Gioia that makes it a wonderful experience. The service is personal, the ambience is fresh and open, the food imaginative yet grounded, and the clientele the several times I have been there has been young and spirited, like the staff. We left wondering why this total experience would be so hard to replicate anywhere else.

It was our first time here and we didn't have high expectations. I won a gift card which prompted us to go. We were actually blown away by how good it was! The service was impeccable - very fast and friendly without being pushy. The margaritas were good and the food was delicious. We started with nachos which were different than you usually find but they were excellent. I got a rice bowl with grilled chicken that was huge and everything was fresh. My husband got a fajita burrito that he said was excellent. I'm so glad we found this place. It will be our new go to for Mexican food.

I went with 3 other ladies who I hadn’t seen in years. We had Diane as our waitress and she was the BEST!!! Very accommodating, sense of humor with us, took our pictures (inside and out), just an amazing person. Food was excellent!!!
