Best Gluten Free Restaurants in St Andrews

We had a wonderful experience, dining at Velvet Tide last night. All of the food was excellent, my personal favourites being the corn ribs, the miso glazed salmon and the lamb kofta. My husband and I opted to share the trio of desserts and were not disappointed, they were incredible. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Josh, who was an absolute delight 😊 The only (tiny) thing was, I always have a Tia Maria coffee to end my meal and there was none available, I did ask for a couple of substitute la but those weren't available either. However, Josh to the rescue! He recommended a lovely liqueur that was a delight. We will definitely be back, thank you.

. On entering the hotel we were greeted by a a very friendly receptionist called Adam who directed us round to the restaurant. We were shown to our seats by another very friendly girl. Our drinks order was taken very quickly by yet another very friendly boy whose name began with D. He was very knowledgeable about the food and explained what a few things were. The food was absolutely delicious and freshly cooked. There were 6 empty plates at the end! Thank you, we will definitely be back.
