Chef Frank went far and beyond to make my birthday dinner spectacular and over the top delicious! I have extreme dietary needs and rather than that be seen as a barrier (like many other restaurants) Chef Frank took it as a challenge and creatively and skillfully made me one of the best meals I’ve had in San Diego! The thoughtfulness and care that the staff at Rovino showed was beyond impressive (having a phone call with me prior to dining there to figure out how to meet my needs) and the double checking on site blew my mind. I expected to have a dietarily safe meal, but what I got was outstanding and I can’t wait to make this my regular date spot! Thus is easily my new favorite restaurant for so many reasons. Chef Frank and his team really do put their heart and souls into this restaurant and it’s felt. The Branzino was incredible and my wife said her chicken was so good she couldn’t stop eating it. We were visiting Ocean Beach from Oklahoma and this restaurant had exceptional reviews so we decided to try it! So glad we did. Our server Christopher was great! Food was absolutely incredible.
