- EEllaNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review5.0Dined on 4 Oct 2026Went for a Sunday roast last weekend and OMG it was one of the best roast dinners I have eaten in a long time! We both had the chicken, and it came with everything I would ever want on a roast! Both mashed and roast potatoes, the creamy greens were unreal, all the trimmings and good yorkshires and best of all an amazingly generous portion of gravy! We scraped the plate clean and enjoyed it so much we have booked to come back next weekend! The hussar does such great food what a great pub!More infoThe Northumberland Hussar££££• Pub• Newcastle upon Tyne•4

- BBubbleBrighton •2 reviews4.0Dined on 3 Feb 2024Booked last minute as 10 of us and was pleasantly surprised! Friendly service and good food. The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is because one of the main meals was late coming out. Would recommend 😊More infoThe Hudson - Restaurant££££• Comfort Food• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.1
