I was beyond happy with my birthday brunch at Atchafalaya. It has the unique experience of being unpretentious but with exquisite food. Hands-down best shrimp and grits I have ever had. And I have had a lot! I started with one of my favorites, the deviled egg, which is just extraordinary. You won't get it anywhere else. Knowing it was my birthday, they scattered gold stars across the table, which was so adorable, and presented me with the most delicious German chocolate brownie with whipped cream that I have ever had. The place never disappoints!

I wish there was a 10-star option for N7. The absolute highlight of our first trip to New Orleans!!! Cannot say enough about N7; the ambiance, decor, staff, menu, food, etc, etc, etc, was all off the chart. Was so happy we were able to get reservations. Everything on the menu was outstanding. We enjoyed the Smoked Tomato soup, Napa Cabbage, Scallops, Escargots, Cheese plate, and the Steak au Poivre. EVERYTHING was cooked to perfection. Our server, who admitted it was her first night on the floor, after working there for several years, was fantastic (unfortunately I do not remember her name) but she was great. Her recommendations were spot on. Next time you visit New Orleans, do yourself a favor and make a reservation at N7. You will not be disappointed
