This is a good restaurant for Chinese food, and like many other upscale Chinese restaurants it seems tailored to appeal to common American tastes. My Chinese fianceé and I dined here while considering restaurants to privately book for our wedding, and we had a good experience. The food was presented well, the place has an aesthetic design, and customer service was excellent. The main critique I would offer is that it is quite loud, but that could be a product of its midtown location, its largely youngish office worker clientele when we dined here, and the lunchtime hour. Might be better at night.

The meal was fantastic (the meatball appetizer and fried brussel sprouts were our fave) but the real star was our server Allie. She was charming, personable and kept us smiling all night. We will definitely return!

The service was on point! I drink a lot of water. Never did my glass become empty! We ordered hummus as an appetizer. The sourdough pita that went with it was delicious! The servers noticed we had half of the hummus left and no pita bread. They gave us two servings of pita bread for free. Aside from a latte and an old fashioned, we ordered the hummus with pita bread, spinach and linguine vongole. We will come back just for the hummus and pita. The spinach was average. The vongole was a good serving, lots of clams and the right amount of salt, garlic and spice. Overall, it was a great dining experience. Shout out to the service staff who kept filling up my glass and that sourdough pita bread!

Wonderful food in a nice atmosphere. Appetizers are especially amazing - we prefer to order lots of those as opposed to traditional entrees. And noise level, at least by NYC standards, is not too bad - we were able to converse and hear each other just fine.

This is a fantastic place to come for lunch! You should really consider it if you are in the area. The express lunch has fantastic options and both the food and service were excellent!

An old favorite does a good job for a dozen Yale reunion members, offering a solid seafood-oriented menu with fresh fish served as preferred, plus starters to share and completed with dessert plates for sharing too.
