An Absolute Masterclass in Hospitality and Fine Dining! We had an amazing anniversary dinner at The Gamekeeper. From the warm valet greeting to our exceptionally polite and knowledgeable server, Thomas, the hospitality was flawless. We started with a Smoked Old Fashioned and a Muad D'ib cocktail (featuring a spectacular cherry frozen inside the ice cube). For appetizers, the seafood fish cakes were perfectly seasoned, the tomato bisque with blue cheese crumbles had incredible depth, and the Bleu Salad was beautifully balanced with spiced pecans and Granny Smith apples. For mains, my Boar Chop was executed to medium perfection with beautifully rendered, crispy fat and creamy al dente potato salad. My wife’s flawless, seared scallops were elevated by a bright citrus glaze. We finished by splitting a light, fruit-packed Pavlova. The kitchen also generously gifted us espresso macarons for our anniversary, which paired perfectly with our coffee press. To top off a magical evening, a family of deer greeted us in the parking lot as the valet pulled up our car. An unforgettable milestone!
