We love The Cheesy Grape and always look forward to going when we’re in Henley. Fabulous range of cheeses, charcuterie and wines to enjoy in a relaxed and comfortable setting. The advice from Rob is superb and well worth following. Becky, Rob and the rest of the team have created a wonderful venue and for us it sets the standard against which all other such places are judged.

Welcoming and friendly staff, excellent menu choice, we had the ribs and chicken Kiev, great potions and value. It was very busy for a Monday, glad we booked. Lovely atmosphere and warm feel. Staff attentive, asking if need another drink etc would highly recommend

We came for their Sunday Lunch which was as delicious as usual. We both had pork which was very tender with the usual trimmings, roast potatoes, parsnips & carrots plus some greens, cauliflower cheese & a Yorkshire pudding with gravy. A real plateful. Pretty much all food could be served in normal or small portions. For the main lunch we chose normal size but I had a small crumble which was lovely & they didn’t skimp on the custard despite the portion size! The lemon posset was also very nice. It was busy but not overly noisy although a lot of that is usually due to the patrons... The waiting staff kept apologising to us about the slowness of the service - apparently they were a couple of staff down - but the service was excellent, no complaints whatsoever. I’d go so far as to say that the level of service given with 2 staff down was pretty much as good as other pubs get with a full quota of staff! The bill proved to be good value for money even including the optional 10% service charge. Definitely had no problems paying that. Always enjoy a Sunday lunch at the Olive Tree. Would highly recommend it.

Everything about the evening was utterly faultless and it’s not often I’d say that about somewhere. The setting, service, food, drink just everything was incredible and considering the extremely high quality of food and drink it was surprisingly really good value for money. Cannot recommend The Barn highly enough!!
