- PPriscillaGoldWest Palm Beach •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe food, ambience and service were impeccable. The experience starts when you walk up and see a beautifully picturesque building. The hostess was warm and welcoming and made sure we were seated in a timely manner with our reservation. The restaurant was very busy, but that did not hinder the service at all. Our server Brittany was an absolute gem of a human being. She exuded joy and friendliness, while also helping guide our menu decisions with honesty and transparency. The food was spectacular, as was the wine selection. We ordered the famous cornbread, steak tartare, and goat cheese creme brûlée appetizers, followed by the duck cassoulet and finally, the hummingbird cake for the dessert. No trip to the Charleston area is complete without a visit to this landmark establishment!More infoPost House$$$$• American• Mount Pleasant•4.7

- JJerrySouth Carolina •10 reviews5.0Dined on 19 Oct 2026It has been awhile since we have dined inside other than a special event or two. The drinks were fantastic, was thrilled that the Red Wedding was still on the cocktail list and the Martini service was also a treat with the full array of garnishes. We snacked on the butter bean hummus which was delicious and the shrimp toast which was also excellent - a little of the dipping sauce goes a long way. We stayed with the fish theme for entrees with the perfectly fried catfish over grits and the salmon with fried noodles which were a surprise preparation because it was like a savory fried noodle cake and yummy. Along the way we got a glass of wine from their solid but not overbearing wine list and a French 75. We wrapped up with banana pudding and butterscotch pie that we took home with us. They have taken away the chef's counter seating which we will miss but everything else was fantastic so we will definitely be back sooner rather than later.
