Best Sunday Lunch Restaurants in Whitehead

What a fantastic neighbourhood restaurant! The food was absolutely outstanding and the service was excellent from start to finish. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and has such a lovely atmosphere. The menu is amazing we honestly couldn’t decide what to have. We ended up having a selection of small plates along with their sharing surf and turf, and everything single thing was delicious. The cocktails were also fantastic and really added to the experience. A great spot in Holywood and somewhere we’ll definitely be returning to. Highly recommend!

Tasty food, nice service, great for a traditional meal

I love eating here. Really good, happening vibe. Tables are not on top of each other so diners have privacy. Food is excellent plus location is great.

Taylor & Clay was highly recommended to me by a friend, and I’m very glad we decided to give it a try. I hadn’t realised when booking that our original table was directly in view of the chefs and kitchen. I asked if it would be possible to move to a slightly quieter table, and the staff were more than happy to accommodate us, which was greatly appreciated. For starters, we both had the tiger prawns with sourdough bread, which were absolutely delicious. My partner had the sirloin steak and I had the fillet, and both were cooked exactly as requested and seasoned perfectly. I’ve eaten in a number of steakhouses around Belfast, but I have to say Taylor & Clay is by far the best I’ve tried. The staff throughout were extremely friendly, polite and attentive. As the Fleadh Cheoil was taking place, they were operating a set menu, but that certainly wasn’t a negative. I had originally wanted to try the T-bone steak, but if anything, this experience has just given me another reason to come back. Excellent food, great service and a really enjoyable experience overall. I would highly recommend Taylor & Clay and will definitely be returning.
