Brilliant! we were recommended by our son, and we were not disappointed. We were made welcome right from the start and nothing was too much trouble. Fabulous menu, with the shepherds pie an outstanding winner. I was fascinated watching all the staff with their distinctive clothing showing what their duties are. The girl who brought the food from the kitchen was amazing carrying a huge tray on her shoulder, right down to the bar staff creating cock tails, everyone was busy all the time working in a happy, pleasant atmosphere. It was our first anniversary and when the staff found out we were given a lovely chocolate desert with happy anniversary on it. Beautiful decor, lovely staff, heavenly food. Worth every penny. It was pouring down when we left and unfortunately there were no umbrellas left. What a lovely idea though. Well done ,we will be be back when next visiting Nottingham.

Lovely welcoming pub, warm and inviting on a cold autumn day. Staff were very welcoming. Great space between tables which meant we weren’t over crowded by larger parties. Food was amazing. Great value. Lovely personal touch with birthday card and birthday macarons plate to close our meal. Will definitely visit again and would recommend.

We use your restaurant for regular meetings and find it works well for us all as we come from different parts of the country and as my wife is disabled and uses a wheelchair it is very convenient and we love it 👏

What a little gem The Oak Bistro is - the food was brilliant, the garden room was perfect. I am Cambridge born and bred and have walked and driven by this venue more times than I care to remember - went in it when it was just a pub back in the day…. What an impressive place it is now will definitely go back and recommend….
