Best Restaurants for Handcrafted Cocktails in Makawao

We stop at least once per annual trip to Maui! Been wonderful watching OV grow adding dining and concerts from 5-7pm. If you have not done so take the distillery and tasting tour at least once.

Another great night at Leilani’s. Everything from atmosphere to food taste was excellent. Cocktails and appetizers came out really fast and were tasty. As main course and a party of 4 , we got a variety of meat, pasta, salad and fish entrees and they were all very tasty. It was our last night in Maui and this place made it special. We will be back

This place never disappoints us. There were four of us and we had the mac nut Mahi Mahi and the Special Catch of the Day. From start to finish incredible. Our server Raquel is a true pro! Combining fantastic service with fantastic food Hula Grill is a must!

This was the first time at Monkeypod in Maui (we ate multiple times at the one in Oahu; we love all the Merriman restaurants). The restaurant has an amazing view. Food was delicious! The fish and chips batter seemed a bit thicker/bready compared to the one in Oahu. We devoured the pork tacos, they were incredible! The lemonade was delicious. Waitress was super nice. Just the right amount of noise. Overall always a pleasure and very satisfying to eat at Monkeypod. Good value for the quality of the food. Would absolutely return here in the future!

Our food was excellent, and we really liked that they had half portions of some meals. It was perfect for a couple of us for dinner. And Lupe was an excellent server. Can’t beat the ambience right by the beach.
