This was an experience to say the least. The inn itself is quaint, kitchie and unexpected. Each course was beautifully executed and tasted amazing. The ambience of this restaurant is warm, inviting, very tasteful and local. The food is second to none in the Boston/Cambridge area. Truly exceptional. The chef, Erin Miller, prepares the meals along with her staff, and they all serve the dishes to individual tables as they are available. In other words, an intimate, immersive experience in highest quality dining. Wonderful!

My husband and I tried the tasting menu. He tried the pescatarian and I had the omnivore. It was great to try both. I had the wine and cheese pairing and the chef paired everything perfectly. Excitedly to try it again!

Catalyst is one of our go-to restaurants close to MIT. The food is consistently good, the place is not too noisy, allowing conversation, and the service is outstanding. My only wish is for a little menu expansion, perhaps with seasonal additions. This is especially true because we do go there often.

We practically had the place to ourselves 5-6:30 on a Thursday— farmers market day in Exeter. Cannot understand why. It is a high end place, to be sure, but the food was delicious, the ambiance lovely, and the service top notch. Unique offerings for a vegetarian, and a US-focused wine list. Wish i lived closer to come more often.
