Best Restaurants for Local Ingredients in Eagle, Idaho

We had such a wonderful experience at The Boise Post! The space itself is absolutely beautiful, and the views of downtown Boise are breathtaking. We visited on a 100-degree day, so we really appreciated being able to enjoy the rooftop views from the cool, air-conditioned bar. Our server, Li Shu, was fantastic! She was so sweet, attentive, and incredibly helpful with recommendations. She helped us choose some of the best dishes and drinks, and everything she suggested was spot on. We ordered the Fingerling Potatoes and the SRF Wagyu Skirt steak, and both were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. For drinks, we tried the Sawtooth Soirée, Huck Around and Find Out, and the Lazy Sommelier. They were all delicious, refreshing, and perfect for a hot Boise summer day. Between the gorgeous atmosphere, incredible views, delicious food and cocktails, and Li Shu’s wonderful service, this was definitely a 5-star experience. Such a beautiful new spot in downtown Boise. We will absolutely be back!

Great meal, everything we tried was excellent. We were impressed the first time we dined here and it has lived up to expectations the second time. Innovative, fresh, everything well balanced, this place is a winner.

We love the food, especially the pastas and the specials. Wonderful staff at every level which makes it a happy place to be. We are looking forward to being able to at some point enjoy a summer dinner on the lovely patio overlooking the pond but so far the heat and/smoke has precluded that. The Little pig has become one of our go-to spots, a great addition to Boise’s restaurant scene.

Wonderful food and great atmosphere. Was such a great way to spend our anniversary. Highly recommend.
