- CChrisGoldSan Francisco Bay Area •25 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe owners and Chef of Cafe Vivant have truly identified and fulfilled a culinary need in the area with their "Sunday All Day" concept. This style of menu and exceptional service have been a wonderful addition to the community. The offerings are outstanding, particularly the dressed chicories Caesar, horseradish, as well as the chicken sausage, egg, and white cheddar sandwich served on a homemade English muffin with romesco. The duck sausage 'bangers and mash' with quince mustard is another highlight. I highly recommend experiencing the delectable menu and hospitality that Cafe Vivant has to offer.More infoCafe Vivant$$$$• Contemporary American• Menlo Park•4.7

Area •12 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoI tried Restaurant Gish because it has >300 reviews and 5 stars, this is hard to achieve and after visiting there, I can definitely see they have a perfect rating! This course were inventive and delicious and came out perfectly timed. Everyone got enough to eat to feel satisfied. Rotating menu means that I get to try something new that I may have not picked! And I love how many different types of mushrooms they use, there were mushrooms in every single course and i loved it. We went to celebrate my husband's bday and I really liked how it felt fancy but not stuffy! Like i felt comfortable eating :) what an enjoyable experienceMore infoRestaurant Gish$$$$• Korean• Santa Clara•4.9
- GGlennGoldSan Francisco Bay Area •313 reviews5.0Dined on 25 Oct 2026Flea Street Cafe is really one of the finest restaurants in the Bay Area, Not only are all their dishes delicious, but it’s like artistry on the plate. I’ve never seen such a beautiful presentation of oysters on the plate. In a typical restaurant you get six oysters, snd two little cups is sauce, maybe some horseradish and a vinaigrette. At Flea Street, the oysters are presented on little polished rocks and each oyster is colorfully decorated with olive oil and colorful sauce. And they are delicious and super fresh highestp quality oysters. The cornbread was delicious with also artistic presentation butter that looked like flowers on the plate. The farmer’s salad was delicious along with the smoked trout and the zucchini risotto. And the entrees of short ribs and black cod (also called sable) were just the finest quality, super delicious, and satisfying. Portion sizes are perfect. As Anthony Bourdaine said in one of his books, the mark of a great restaurant is not how you feel while eating the meal, but how good you feel after the meal. And we felt great after this meal at Flea Street Cafe. Oh, and the two Pinot wines by the glass were also excellent.More infoFlea Street$$$$• Farm-to-table• Menlo Park•4.8
- KKevinGoldSan Francisco Bay Area •40 reviews5.0Dined on 23 Oct 2026We dined with another couple and everyone was delighted with their meals, Two of us had pork jager schnitzel while my wife had wiener schnitzel, and the final diner had rouladen. We all had spaetlza which was perfectly prepared. Everyone loved their meals. Service was prompt, friendly, and very helpful answering questions. Note that this is a Austrian restaurant and that means that some thanks might be a bit different from what you find in German restaurants. It also means several Italian items are on the menu. Austria has a long border with Italy.More infoNaschmarkt - Pleasanton$$$$• Austrian• Pleasanton•4.8
